My Story

Making a Positive Impact

If someone had told me I’d be a fitness professional promoting good health and body positivity I would have laughed at them. Never in a million years did I see myself here but God had other plans. I had been overweight all of my life with little to no knowledge of nutrition. 


It all started with a Daniel Fast January of 2013. It all started with me for me. It all started with willpower with absolutely no end in sight. The goal was simply to keep going. 


With about 300 pounds and many odds stacked against me, I took the first step. Basic home workouts and eating clean every now and then became more and more intentional and soon a lifestyle and transformation that surpassed far beyond the physical.


I always knew my purpose was service but I had no clue health and fitness would be the avenue. Somewhere along my journey, I fell in love with it. 


Through practice I got better. Through passion I started to inspire and reach people. I fell in love with working out because it became my therapy. As I started to learn more it became my mission to teach my people. 


I am now a certified personal trainer through NASM school of medicine, top in the country.  I educate on health and fitness, presenting fitness as selfcare and life saving.  


I want people to understand it’s necessary and know it’s possible (without gimmicks and quick fixes.) I want people to know that making it a lifestyle is overly rewarding. Think HEALTHY is the new HAPPY!

 I've been a fitness professional since 2015 and certified since 2016. It has been my goal and purpose to educate the people in fitness and most importantly nutrition. I specifically target African American communities because there's a substantial lack of knowledge, resources or urgency regarding this topic or our health in general. Having come from this very type of background, overweight and malnourished I made it my business and my mission to show people a better way and that it's totally possible naturally. No get skinny quick schemes. The goal is to MAKE IT A LIFESTYLE. We are literally fighting for our lives.

Grocery Store Tour / Nutritional Coaching

In healthy weight loss/gain nutrition is the most important factor. It's the key to optimal desired results from pre to post or no workout. This service is for the person who wants to transition into a healthier lifestyle and is not sure how or where to start. In this process, we will learn about food that's healing to our bodies, best for nourishment and performance and also unlearn those bad habits. It's my goal to help you obtain a better relationship with food without eliminating whole food groups. During the grocery store tour, I teach you how to successfully navigate the isles teaching you how to understand labels, ingredients and show you healthy substitutes for the foods you love. We must eat to live and not the other way around. 

Small Group Training

Small group training was created with affordability and accountability in mind. Whether your budget doesn't allow one on one services or you feel you need a squad to be in the trenches with you, small group training is for you! The real beauty of it is that you still get individualized attention for your specific needs with an extremely guided workout. 

Cross Fit Class

Group Classes

Saturdays are for the beginner, the experienced and the advanced person. It's for the person who doesn't quite know where to start and the gym rat. Full body weight workouts are designed using the world around us as the gym. I created Sweat Camp for the community, my community. The classes are all donation based because I don't want the lack of funds to be the reason a person can't get some quality, guided exercise. I started this mission with the people as my priority and that is how it shall remain! 

Wednesdays are more specific and almost always have added modalities. We may target a specific muscle group or specific sets, use different styles of training, etc. It is still very inclusive and all levels are welcome. 

Whether its Saturday or Wednesday, it's an atmosphere of love and encouragement. You come once and you're fit family for life! 

Individual 1-on-1 Training

I have an integrated style of training which means my programs include Stability, Flexibility, Strength, and Power to meet whatever goals you desire. This approach along with specific strategies ensures that you will properly progress through the program meeting your goals and minimizing any further muscle imbalances/ avoid injury.
